So I've made this army list out of the current models I have, and was wondering how this would do in a small tourney? The restrictions I'm sure will come up, as they haven't been announced yet, are the following: No FW Models, 2000 points, Maximum one LOW, Battle forged - 2 Detachments only.

In terms of just competitiveness, 1k sons arent in a great spot. They are great against relatively elite troops, while hordes are the current meta. Magnus could do some heavy lifting, but against Razorwing span, brimstone tzeentch list, anything IG brings, or a Bobby G gunline....might be tough

That being said, seems like a fun casual list to play against.

Looks like a standard thousand sons list, and it's probably harder to squeeze much more out of it if you're going exclusively 1k sons? It's unfortunate that you're not allowed FW models, as that's where you get a lot of the competitive units for chaos.

FLGS isn't too keen on FW models since we don't do orders for them. Our local distributor only stocks GW stuff too, so insofar as the competitive metagame around here, imagine every competitive list had no FW at all.
