The Rift Watchers are a fleet based chapter tasked with patrolling the great rift watching over the many worlds now directly bathed in warp storm and chaotic influence - as first responders they are just as likely to save as destroy a population if deamed a threat, their dark colours betray a secretive style of warfare where infiltration assassination and recon are important as sheer force, shock and awe that most chapters are known for.

Nice. Got a bit of a Carcharadon vibe (which isn't a bad thing by any means). It's only a suggestion but have you thought about painting the helmet lenses a different colour, just to give a point of interest/focus?

Any designs for a chapter symbol?

Seconded on the lenses! You can keep the palette subtle, but definitely throw a bit of colour in there. (Maybe an orange or something to compliment the cooler greys?)

Other than that they look really clean. A simple colour scheme, but it definitely works well on the Primaris models. Maybe have them as Raven Guard stock Primaris, seeing as they're infiltrators and such.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Hello Zognob Gorgoff, I like the muted grey color palette You used on Your Primaris Space Marines.

They are solid Grim Darkness warriors.

Thanks, I've always liked more subtitle schemes or very vibrant ones, it was either go howling griffons style full on heraldry or sleek military look (which is faster to paint) so I liked the idea of having Primaris be very efficient and a little colder than base space marines. Chapter icon is going to be a white and black lightening bolt from the standard transfer set. I'm un sure what it relates to connonicaly (even though I've collected for decades lol) so anyone can tell me I'd be greatful. https://goo.gl/images/FgUHLp bottom left there's a couple of bolt designs. I'm also going to use triangles, diamonds and numbers to give a military theme, the lead shoulder will remain bare black, the rear shoulder with have chapter or heraldry. The rear backpack plate will have the squad insignia with different colours for different squads.

Thanks for the feedback the lenses are just gloss blue as moment so maybe a bit dark I may try to underpaint white with shading to lighten them a little but didn't want them to glow, I think it's good criticism as originally I was going to do full greys - no leather and my misses talked me into more colours and I'm glad - so maybe i need to go further and make the lenses a little brighter. Thanks.

Hello to you to Darkstar thank you for the feed back, glad there are plenty of fans of the drimdark paint schemes over the more cel shaded gw paintwork. My deathgaurd are going a lot further down the 'Grim' rabbit hole.

It looks nice to see something darker compared to the really bright schemes that I've seen on the primaris models.

Keep up the good work, they look incredible.
