Basically what the title says. For things like planes, an officer of the fleet, etc, they have Aeronautica Imperialis listed on their data sheets in the faction keywords section. Is that their regiment?

No. It's a Faction Keyword. Same as Militarum Tempestus or Officio Prefectus. Neither of those are <Regiment> either.
What this means is that some buffs only work on them and don't work on other types of AM unit. It's just a specific keyword for Imperial Navy units.

I'm pretty sure that was already answered in the FAQ. You actually have to consult fluff this edition, and in fluff the Aeronautica Imperialis is not a regiment.

Sadly they only answered about the Prefectus and the Auxilia, but made no mention of the Aeronautica Imperialis. It's probably safe to assume that precedent has been set, but I do wish they just removed all doubt and mentioned the third one. Since that's really the only other "specified regiment that may or may not be a regiment keyword"

A quick Google search for Aeronautica Imperialis shows that it most definitely is not a regiment.

Areonautica Imperialis is the copyright-able alternative to Imperial Air Force. Which indeed, isn't a regiment, it's a branch of service.
