I was thinking about assembling a Tzeentch warband for Shadow War and got to thinking, how would one go about designing specifically Tzeentch dedicated cultists for 40k? I mean, you can already pretty easily figure out how to depict cultista for Nurgle, Khorne, and Slaanesh, but Tzeentch leaves me a bit stumped.

Lucky for you, GW put out a kit not too long ago with Tzeentch cultist. They're called Tzaangors https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/tzaangors Or if you don't like those, try Acolytes: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Kairic-Acolytes

Well one thing is for certain: the cultists need a change.

Could you actually do those kind of coversions for 10 or more cultists? I wouldn't be able to face doing that for a cultist horde, especially if they're all different. (Maybe it's just my hatred of cultists)

The Acolytes seem like they would be better suited to a Slaanesh cult in a 40k setting. The skirts just don't seem like they would mesh well with the setting. The head sculpts are great though.
The Tzaangors are good. I was thinking more human than beastman cultists though.
I feel like a Tzeentch cult would be one of the better equipped though. With Tzeentch's whole "plans within plans" shtick, I would expect hid troops would gear up enough to handle any potential situations or disruptions.

He said he wanted it to Shado Wars. I doubt he needs more than 5-6 cultists at most.
The Kairic mascs are very good to any Tzeentch Acolyte. I agree tought in the "more equiped" and ornated. Birds and Fishes are both the animals of Tzeentch, you can go that way.

Ah, it would help if I could read.

Did you never read Conan stories as a kid? That's basically the required outfit for crazed sorcerer cultists back in the day!
Big thing to figure out though when trying to do cultists of any stripe in 40k?
Are they going to be cultists from a loyal planet or cultists brought up within the realms of their masters?
