Hi all,

I'm currently messing around with a few ideas, and one I had was creating a heavy weapon team like the old Necromunda models, I.E. A obviously buff guy carrying and firing the gun, then the ammo carrier by him, all on the 60mm base. Just something different from tripods/gun carriage /tactically lying/propped on stuff.

I'm thinking of using Ork boyz arms to represent the guy carrying the gun as ripped. Has anyone done this, or would it be easy to convert the arms from being too Ork to buff human? I'm doing this because if normal humans can move and fire heavy guns (in Necromunda) then why not in 40k (but obviously modeled WYSIWYG to avoid shenanigans in ruling.)

Just found this. I converted a lot of space marine bikers to have bare buff arms. I used Orc, chaos, and ogre kingdom arms. Below are sample pics. I warn you, the ogre arms make them all look like the Hulk.
This first link leads to guys made with ork and fantasy goblin arms.

I LOVE your idea as a note...but I do think you may need some GS work for a buffer figure all togethor, Or instead of ogrynns, look at AOS chaos warriors.

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.
