I thinking of getting back into it, but I want to make sure of a few things.

The real quesion is, there a thread outlining the changes in 8th so I can decide if I still want to
spend money and risk wife aggro. Are codexes like AoS? Downloadable? Rules? All thay?

Core rules are downloadable. Indexes for units are $25 a pop. They will be invalid soon, but if you still have models $25 is all you'd need to spend to see how you feel about it.
