I finished created a Sgt Harker conversion for my army. I used a tactical squad heavy bolter, a cadian command squad sprue, normal cadian shocktrooper sprue, and a Forgeworld head. Overall, I am very pleased by the results and it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be.

My two copper:
Belt or box for the ammo. You don't need both, and I'd vote belt as it is visually lighter.
Is there any way that you could bring the weapon closer to the center of gravity and inline with the model's hips? That is alot of weight to carry (and fire) that far off the body.

Id first move him onto the new 32mm base.

as mudduck says belt or box.

id also bulk him up a bit with pouchs and bag bits since he looks a little scrony holding that big bad heavy bolter.
