Daemons + Chaos Space Marines + Renegade Knight in the same (Supreme Command) detachment possible in Battle Scribe?

Use Case: I'm trying to put Skarbrand, Abbadon, and a Renegade Knight in a Supreme Command Detachment -> is there a way in Battle Scribe to do that?

No, but I'm pretty sure the rules won't let you do it either. Read up on those faction keywords. They are all Chaos, but they don't share keywords I believe because they are technically different armies still.

Chaos is a keyword, so yes they can all be taken as one army.

Well then does Battle Scribe just not have the functionality yet?

^ As this.

Bad Jarl. Naughty Jarl.

Chaos is a Faction Keyword.
Nurgle, Khorne, Slaanesh and Tzeentch are faction keywords.
Heretic Astartes and Daemon are faction keywords.
The Legions are faction keywords.

All you need is for ONE of these to be common throughout the entire army - so, Chaos is viable - and the only viable one as it's the only Keyword the Questor Traitoris share with the others.

But you can mix Daemons and CSM easily - the god keywords can be used, Chaos can be used. So plenty of overlap.

Just like the Imperium can now have squads of Imperial Guard with random Inquisitors, Space Marines and Thunderwolves running around the same army.

Battlescribe is pretty terrible in that respect.

Books over digital apps, every single time. You can't really go wrong with a pen and paper and some common sense however Battlescribe has a lot of odd errors still - not flexible with detachments, incorrect point values, incorrect rules and keywords.

I just downloaded it to see, it seems to work. After you pick your detachment+army, you can add a second army as part of the same detachment (just highlight the entry and click add). It seems to work, it seems to register it as one detachment and even though it still has the "detachment" selector it doesn't actually let you select anything different from the previous detachment. A bit wonky, but seems to work.

My bad. I don't play Chaos, I just cleanse the field of battle of their filth.

Exactly correct, you can add multiple armies to the same detachment, it's ugly in that they won't be nicely arranged, but it works well enough. Still hoping GW will come out with a battlescribe alternative though.

Constantly being negative doesn't make you seem erudite, it just makes you look like a curmudgeon.

Thank you so much for this! I've been trying to figure out how to do this with the Imperium keyword (so I can build a battleforged army with my HQ-less Adeptus Custards) since 8th came out!
