There are some important changes from this:

Buffs:

- Spined Beast (wtf was the architects of fate rule??) and Giant Spawn now have the buffs for choosing a certain god (Ephemeral form, disgustingly resilient etc)
- Contemptors and Leviathans can now go full dakka with twin ranged weapons


Nerfs:

- Poor old soulburner decimator has had a 60 pts increase (each soulburner now costing 60 pts instead of 30)
- The Derdeo's hellfire veil now only benefits a unit if all of the models are within 6 inches (no more one foot in for big blob of poxwalkers)
- Rapiers are now, defintely one unit, with the crew being separate (whereas before there was some ambiguity as to whether each one is a separate unit)

What are your thoughts/anything I've missed?

I'm not pleased with the soulburner's price bump, 210 pts for a decimator is now far less appealing given how weak they are, but I'm pleased i can now run dakka contemptors and leviathans with their bs2+. Pop that near a lord for lolz) The buff to spawn is really nice too, given how cheap they are. 4+ invuln and next to the changeling will be nice for my 3 spawn assault team)

Surfing the Tervigon Wave...on a baby.

The Giant Spawn tweaks make me smile. I definately look forward to assembling and painting my Reaper Bones Shub Niggurath as my counts-as Giant Spawn now.

Also somewhat impressed at seeing the special characters get assigned proper Legions as well rather than random warbands.

maybe now will be harder spam decimators,and no they wasn't weak when they can field a large number, for me Fw made a good decision.

The spawn changes certainly help to soften the blow of the decimator nerf. Think i'll be proxying them as contemptors now, with two kheres assault cannons and maybe two soul burners.

T7 and 8 wounds is pretty weak for a 210 point model.

Not being able to warptime the Brass scorpion is particularly irritating.
All hellforged stuff not being repairable by hellwrights is..dumb.

Reading a bit more: we now have a sonic dread, and can take the vindicator laser destroyer for chaos (but would have to buy a separate index if you want to use it....nice fw, nice)

The helforged/helwright thing is frustratingly stupid design. I was keen on making a fluffy machine list and now my techpriest cant even fix his own creations.

They couldve at least replaced his repair ability to a +1 to helforged eating rolls or something

Although now they regain wounds from overwatch kills, so kit out all your hellforged vehicles with flamers and laugh as your opponant struggles to kill you: flame a unit, they charge you, flame again, regen wounds, back out of combat, repeat.

The solution to Hellwrights not repairing Hellforged is to simply add the caveat "during the turn in which it eats models in close combat." I think it's universal that models can only regen wounds from one single source per turn, this seems to be case with the FAQ entry here, but given how obviously rushed and understaffed they are at FW they forgot about Hellwrights and their repair ability. They just need to do another FAQ and add a note that the Machina Malefica healing can be the only healing you gain for that turn, allowing Hellwrights and Warpsmiths to repair them when they're out of combat.

The changes to the Chaos Vindicator Laser Destroyer gimp it. Every Hellforged unit has a progressively better WS as it takes wounds, but the FAW doesn't give that to this vehicle, so it's gonna be stuck with gakky WS and will likely not regen many wounds because of it. They also tend to get some other nifty ability like the Pred's bonus attacks. They should just draw up a proper entry for it instead of an FAQ note.
