I’ve slowly grown my collection of old Orks from the 80s and 90s from eBay. I love the style of these old guys. It took me a few months to find and buy them all, especially the tinboyz, and it’s been a real pleasure painting them all up, they have such great details. They’ll see action in game in warhammer 40k, scattered into squads as various Nobs (when on shore leave from all their space raiding, of course) and also in Inq28 and Inquisimunda.

The whole krew, ready for a raid.

Kaptin Goldtoof - kunnin’, capable and coming for your cargo!

The Boyz - the mainstay of the ironklad raiders, these Cyborks are more machine than Ork.

The Brainz behind the raiders. They make the perfect pair: The Doc cuts bits off and the Mek sticks bits on.

The Tinboyz - Highly advanced infiltration units - designed to enter Squat, Space Marine or Eldar ships in plain sight and let down the gang plank for the rest of the krew. The krew hasn’t tried this yet, but it’s bound to work.

The Big Gunz - If the krew encounters heavy resistance, these three Orks will torch and bombard it until it stops moving. Also, Runtbot is the only grot on the krew - he’s kind of a mascot.

Very nice vintage stuff. Old Orks have this kind of goofy look that makes them stand out more.

This is my favourite thing about them, the combination of armed and dangerous combined with silliness.
