I would not change a single thing. They are the best poxwalkers Ive seen yet.

If you ever found it hard to understand why anyone would join Nurgle -just take a look at these guys!
Awesome squad.

The stark gloss black and bright white eyes certainly adds an otherworldly element to their general rotten, disfigured appearance.

I really hate these models, but you've done them in a much cooler way than most other ones I've seen. Nice work! The black ichory-spikes are a good way to hide the silliness of them. Nice work!

Fantastic painting, the best Poxwalkers I've seen. Great photographs too. I saw this post yesterday and have thought about how good the paint job and colour scheme is since, so I thought I should come back and comment!

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

See, I don't understand why the GW painters couldn't have made the Poxwalkers look like a murderous horde of otherworldly plague hosts, like you've done, rather than the cartoony gak they tried to give us.

Nice work!

Yes, I have notice that sharp contrast is a good way of catching the eye.

My interpretation of the spikes is that they are like "Concentrations of corruption", the decision to make them black and shiny was almost instinctive.

Thx!

In case you are wondering, the photograph was taken with a Iphone 6 inside a light box made with a cardboard box and my light source was just a desk lamp with "blue light".

Thank you!

I have been around this hobby since 3rd edition and I have seen the general tone of the aesthetics of the 40k universe moving from "grimdark" to a more "kid friendly" tone. I suppose that it is up to us to keep the "grimdark" tone of the 40k universe alive and (in my opinion) faithful to the original vision of it.

You say Fiery Crash! I say Dynamic Entry!

*Increases Game Point Limit by 100*: Tau get two Crisis Suits and a Firewarrior. Imperial Guard get two infantry companies, artillery support, and APCs.

Your take is a good take. I haven't been thrilled with Pox walkers overall, but your paint job "sells" them much better than GWs.

People go to church and pray to entities for whatever reason. This guy just has his own set of theories. If 2000 years ago some guy wrote a book about the warp while lighting a bush on fire - there would be a whole bunch of people in temples right now worshiping warp related activity.
