In the Dark Imperium box set, the Poxwalkers are supplied with 20x 25mm round bases.

But the Easy To Build Death Guard Poxwalkers are advertised as coming with 6x 32mm Round slotted bases.

What the heck?

Best thing to do would be to message GW Customer Service to bring it to their attention. It's possibly an oversight/error on their part so it's worth querying.

Wait...you're suggesting that I go directly to the source of information rather than randomly complaining on the internet? That sounds crazy, but I'll try it and let you know what they say.

oh dear...well i've based 20 poxwalkers now on 25mm. Is there a solid explanation on what size they should be on? I was going to buy the easy to build ones to go with the dark imperium ones...for pose/model variety. but if measuring from the base would this give them an unfair advantage on 32mm? I should probably figure this out before I start painting cause rebasing can be a pain. I definitely don't want mixed base sizes in a poxwalker unit...that would look awful.

Hopefully it's just a typo. 25mm was definitely specified in the Dark Imperium instructions, and that's what it came with. And 32mm does not really make any sense for these guys; they fit just fine on 25s.

If the EtB ones come with 32's, I'll just put them on 25's that I've got spares of and keep the 32's for other projects.

I highly doubt they are on 32mm, because there is no such thing as a slotted 32mm base yet.

Well, the new Easy to Build Death Guard and Primaris Reivers/Intercessors are on 32mm bases, and they have those "bars" on their legs for slotted bases, so I assume those will come with slotted 32mm bases.

OK, here is the response from GW customer service:

"Hello,

Thanks for contacting us. This was indeed a mistake. The web store has been updated to correctly list the Easy to Build Poxwalkers as being supplied with 25mm Round Slotted Bases (matching the images of the miniatures.

Sorry for any confusion this may have caused."

I thought I'd tackle a couple things with another response here. I've had a chance to go over the new First Strike mini starter. The new Pox Walkers in it are on 25s in there.

And whoever it was that said there are no 32mm slotta bases is incorrect - they come in First Strike for the Primaris, Reivers, and Plague Marines. The 32mm slottas have their origin in Blood Bowl 2016. The ones supplied here were assuredly intended for BB, as they still have the hole for pegging the ball into!
