This is an addendum to my comp list, taking into consideration the changes from the FW FAQ. Please rip it to pieces

The Lord moves around with the contemptors to give them buffs to shooting, the raptors deep-strike, and the Fire Raptor goes up near them so that they're all in range for Magnus when he warptimes up to them. So I end up with some nasty units right in my opponents face - with Magnus probably charging a big scary unit (like a knight, which he's amazing against by denying all saves and almost never missing with s16 7 attacks). The fire raptor gets prescienced for twin-linked 2+, and the raptors can overcharge safely if needs be. The contemptors shoot gak with their tasty guns, and the soul burners hunt those pesky invuln elites. The spawn do their thing and go to the nearest tactical combat, whilst the marauders aid the brimstones in objective holding, and just generally add some more dispersed firepower across the list with the versatility of plasma.

The spawn are taking the nurgle allegiance to get the fnp, which is better at stopping single wound shots compared to ephemeral form, but not as effective at saving against multi-wound. Do you think I'd be better going tzeentch?

The new FAQs says you must replace both the Melee and the Combi-Bolter for one of the big gun selections on the dreadnoughts. If you keep both Kheres this will put your list at 1900.

You're right. Okay, that's kinda nice. Gives me a few more points to fill any gaps.

I've rearranged some points to take a 3rd contemptor with kheres' - giving me 36 s7 bs2+ rerolling 1's shots, which provides some nice versatility with horde control (usually T3, so, 2's to wound), and ability to deal with tough elites/light vehicles.

Done some math hammer on the FW Dreads recently.

The Kher Contemptor outperforms the Dorito by quite a margin. (I added in re-rolls from the lord)

When I say Dorito, I mean any loadout.

However, pt for pt the Leviathan is the best. Have a look at come of the comparisons here.
Current target of choice is a Ghostkeel. Hence the -2 to hit. (Assuming drones are alive)

My hesitation with a Leviathan is that I already have two expensive units (fire raptor and Magnus), so, I wanted to disperse my firepower slightly. A Leviathan will cost similar to two kheres contemptors, and has 6 less wounds than them.
Edit: Sheer firepower isn't the only factor.
