Designed this 1500pt list to be as competitive as I can while not being the conventional shooting list.
The idea is to minimize drops to try and secure first turn with the option to fully re-deploy whether I win deployment or not.

The 50% of my army deployed to begin with is Nemesor 180, obyron 151, deceiver 225, lychguard 210 which equates to over 50% of my list everything else will start in reserve.
The game plan is that using the deceiver I will re-deploy Nemesor 12" from my opponents most valuable unit (non vehicle) At the end of the movement phase Obyron and the lychguard will teleport 6" away from nemesor to be as close to the enemy as possible for a first turn charge. While at the same time every other unit comes in from reserve equally after the first turn charge albeit 9" instead of the 6" obyron will need. tomb sentinels will specifically target extremely high wounded units i.e vehicles to try and crack them open in a first turn and possibly charge the contents.

Why not combine the 2 units of flayed ones? You go down by 1 deployment drop, get more out of reanimation protocols, and if you're up against a horde list you can deploy them regularly and use them as your obyron bomb instead of the lower attacks lychguard who can get dragged along in grand illusion as long as you roll over 1 on your command point rerollable d3.

It's my understanding that reinforcements aren't actual drops? Only what is deployed on the table? Unless I have that wrong, having multiple units as opposed to one big unit drop down creates more tactical adaptability as well as a greater chance of at least one unit making combat.

(If I have this wrong then yes I would vastly consider the larger unit over smaller units)

The reason Obryon takes the lychguard is because unlike the flayed ones who teleport in and charge, models moved using the grand illusion can't charge in the same turn. By using Obryon you circumvent that restriction as Nemesor is an anchor for Obryon's teleport which allows a charge using the grand illusion essentially. They also hit harder, better against high toughness targets and high armor targets were as the flayed ones appear to just be mass of attacks.

Though your point of favoring them over the lychguard against the hordes make sense its a weigh up between the flayed ones getting a charge opportunity as well as the lychguard or it being solely the flayed ones.

reinforcements DO count as drops, you use your "drop turn" to state that these units are coming in from reserve. Same with fly or jump packs etc.
