so how exactly the point values for units work?
For instance almost every ork unit may include a boss nob, should i count him as a boy, or as a nob?
Or space wolves grey hunters: grey hunters have 1 sergeant and 4 grey hunters, may include up to 5 additional gh and add a single wolf guard. In point values it says that gh unit cosists of 1-11 units, adn there is no enry how much a non termie wg costs. Does that mean that every member of the unit costs exactly the same no matter the profile?

I don't know what page it is in for Index Imperium, but Index Xenos 2, page 126 - Unit Champions.

Basically, all unit champions have the same cost as other models in their unit.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Yes, you don't have to pay the "sergent" upgrade anymore. The WG with terminator armor has its own cost though, but it's only because of his armor, which is what your going to pay, not the WG upgrade.

The nob in a boyz squad costs 6 points, exactly like any other guy in that squad. Same for any other possible example of this.

Just for confirmation, it lays it out on pg 198 of imperium 1.

"Unit Champions
Many units are led by a champion of some kind such as a Sergeant. Unit champions often have better characteristics and weapon options than the models they command. With the exception of Wolf Guard Pack Leaders in Terminator Armour, unit champions have the same points cost as the other models in their unit. "

You still have to pay for their weargear though, same as everyone else.
