Couple questions about these models. Hoping someone has them and can help clear this up.

First, I cannot tell AT ALL what the difference between the 2 is. Does anyone know what changes between the prime and the regular?

Second, pretty common puppet war question, scale. How big are these things? Does anyone have a comparison pic with it next to a vs infantry and or vs mawloc/trygon?

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

I've got the insectopod I won in a forum contest here, as well as the couple notwraiths that use the same design. They actually reuse some of the photos, so I'm pretty sure there's no difference. The prime is just a single figure. They seem to have changed the head design since they sent me this.

There's a marine, an old metal wraith, and another notwraith on a terminator base with its foot on the top.

Hmm... They seem too small to be a Tryon/mawloc. But too big to be anything else.

Tyranids just have a massive size gap between marine-size and maulerfiend-size?

With that shape/ profile.... Yeah. Kind of. Warriors/shrikes/ravenors are bigger than marines. But no where near that big. More like1.5x the size of a terminator.

The next size up for the serpentine body is the trygon/mawloc. Which are very big.

It looks like it's armed similarly and approximately fits the same base size as a lictor, for whatever good that'll do you. Raveners are also on 40mm bases in the webstore, and have pretty much the same body shape. Are the guards also on 40mm? They were only nice enough to say with the Raveners.
