Twin-Linked Lascannon automatic turret. (from leftover bits)
I had some bits, and wanted to do something out of them, I glued together 2 lascannons (from IG heavy squad), and added them to a base with 2 rocket-launcher stands (also from IG heavy squad) and glued some other bits like a backpack from some squad to it as a radio control.
Its not painted yet, some parts were pre painted tho.
Would like some feedback to it.

That came out great! Nice ideas with just some bits. It really looks automated, and radio controlled. Thanks for sharing. What is your plan for it?

For now, not much.
I was thinking on making it part of an improvised defense line, or just use it as an objective marker.
Got any greater idea?

Looks nice, but the legs/support for that are waaaaaay too small for that kind of gunnery/size.

Kinda true, its a bit smaller then the regular Lascannon legs, but its the only thing I had at hand. But I think if its solid metal, it should be good even in this size.
Btw, are there rules for automated turrets? or could I use a rule meant for another unit to use with this?

Is pretty good, but i think the lascannons are to big for that small base,as for the rules you could use the rules from a ds8 tactical support turret and for more balance instead of pay only 20pt you could pay 50pt because you put a more powerful weapon in it.You could take the turret with a tactical spuad for an example

I like it,looks good,i would use it on a defense line also, likely use, functions as a "Icarus Lascannon" Platform.

Well, I dont have a bigger spare base now, but maybe I will fix it on a bigger one later, and blend it on it with some terrain.
Hmm, I did not think on drones for some reason, but you are right, it could maybe pass as one, just without movement, or a very reduced one, also the price tip is good too, thx a lot.
I thought on the Icarus, but was not sure if it could pass as one, maybe a lower tech version of it.
Thx guys for the feedback, will also post painted version as I do it.
