Just to confirm valks work the way I think they work, using grav shute.

You move your valkyrie as normal
And can disembark at any point of the move .
I'm this context disembark is place all models within 3"
If you moved over 20" now you take casualties on a 1 per model.
The disembark position cannot be within 9" of the enemy.

Now the unit disembarked is free to move , shoot , assault as normal.

Is it just me or is this really good for ogryns?

Yes, you can move shoot and assault as normal when disembarking. Valk's just have a special rule allow you to do it after the transport has moved.
