I created an Excel workbook to aid myself in unit selection and tactical planning. Though it is viewable in Drive many of the functions only work when downloaded and opened in Excel. Functions like sorting the columns on the 'Squad & Weapon Analysis' sheet are unavailable in drive.

This workbook is by no means an end-all be-all list of unit and weapon combos, nor does it account for most Markerlight and wargear modifications. There are far too many combinations to account for in a workbook. Those functions are best left to a database program. This workbook merely provides access to sortable data.

Have fun with it.

Awesome chart! I know there's a ton of weapon combinations; any way of seeing how an advanced targeting system affects weapon effects, though? I think that's one of the bigger ones that's harder to easily convey en masse; multi-tracker and the like improve hits, so that's a bit easier to extrapolate on the user-end.

Go to the Squad & Weapon Analysis worksheet.
Find the specific weapon you want to change, and adjust the AP value. I HIGHLY recommend you change the name of the weapon to yadayadayada ATS, similar to the OC labels so you can keep track of the weapon changes.

The cell below "Target Unit Type" is a dropdown menu that you can choose different targets. The cell 2 cells below that selects what is to be the key you sort by (Unit Type, Role, Shooter BS, Grouping<my own thing>, Unit Name or Weapon Name). In each of the color coded column headers are 2 buttons. One sorts by the column itself, the other sorts by key then column. This is handy when you want to see what is the cheapest unit within a specific role to take to kill MEQs say. You would select the key of Unit Type, then click the sort button KEY+UPPK. This sorts by the key then the UPPK number. (Unit Points Per Kill)

This sheet also takes into account weapon AP, target save vs invuln save. EG shooting FBs at TEQs it auto calcs that the TEQ would use an invuln, pulls what its unvuln is from the sheet then calcs saves based on that. FNP is not considered.
