I have a question about the attacks for the Arco-Flatulents as I like to call them.

In the Imperium Volume 2. It says in the profile that Arcos have base 2 attacks. Then on the weapon description for Arco-Flails it says roll D3 when attacking instead of 1. I am not sure how to interpret this. I rather just have the two attacks.

So which is it?

1. 2 attacks
2. D3 attacks (which means you could have 1 attack instead of the 2 stated in the profile)
3. D3 for each base attack (which would be 2D3, too good to be true)
4. Something else?

It's 2 D3 attacks, as his profiles states he does 2 attacks, so he have the possibility of using his Arco-Flails twice (one for each attack), and this weapons states that you must roll one D3 to know how many attacks he have. So in short your single Arco-Flagellant can deal between 2 and 6 attacks.

Thanks...

With the Priest within six inches that would give me another D3 attacks. All, I have to do now is finish my conversions. I am using my extra chain sword bits instead of flails, but that is for another forum.

Yes that makes for an interesting combo ! I thought they weren't that amazing but in fact that deals a lot of S5 attacks.

With a full squad of 9 Arcos near a Priest it will guarantee you 27 Str 5 attacks. That is if you roll all D3s as 1's. LOL...
