So I am starting to march my tyranids forward and slowly painted what I have and have a rough idea of what need to get opinions and C&C would be awesome

Any comments at all like to know to improve

I am far from an expert but I'll give it a whirl.

I would take the claws off the tervigon and give it scything talons. It's the difference between wounding big stuff on 4+ or 3+ rather than 2+, but with just a measly 3 attacks and hitting on 5+ is pretty ass. With the talons, you save just a few points but get 3 attacks rerolling 1's and they still do good damage.

I see a stealer heavy list. They are fast but you have no way of getting your 1st turn charge. I am assuming you are using the venomthropes to cover them?? Make sure you take at least 1 psycher with the horror.

One more point: I would take the impaler cannons off and use shock cannons instead. With heavy weapons, your guys will get left out of synapse and be forced to fire on the nearest target. Take assault weapons and follow the synapse up the board.

Granted they do all run up the board it will it is unlikely I'll get turn one charge however if they want to get in rapid fire they will need to move closer to spray enough shots etc so yes this was my plan however I see what you mean with claws and talons but there is nothing else spend the points on as it only save 6pts between them both and I would rather they would on 3+ then a 4+

I may try the shock cannons the reason I like the impaler cannons is because they don't need line of sight wound vehicles on 3+ and they ignore cover so I will just position my 3 synapse smartly and keep them out of line of sight etc but I will try shock cannons as well

The talons being cheaper is just a little gravy. They hit a lot more reliably.

Hitting on 4+ rather than 5+ is better than the possibility of wounding on 3+ rather than 4+. Especially when you reroll 1s for the former.

Those 6 points could be used for adrenal glands on the Venomthrope (assuming that is possible, index isn't on me) Or you could equip another gaunt with a devourers and make those units equal.
