On a Canoptek Spyder's Waiting List

So as the title would suggest, these are some of the first models I have painted. Im a complete beginner when it comes to painting models and I have very little experience from when I was a boy. But recently a friend of mine decided to start collecting 40k again and I also caught the bug. I have played and painted a little in the past but that was a long time ago and im now aiming on improving my painting through lots more practice.
Just wanted to post a few examples of my very basic painting and I will continue to upload more here as I build the army (from when I get new parts).
Here is what I own so far and its status:
x1 Overlord - Basecoated and unpainted
x20 Warriors - 12 are painted and based, remaining are in progress
x6 Scarabs - Painted and based
x1 Stalker - Half painted, mainly legs, needs a lot more attention
x5 Lychguard/Praetorians - Basecoated and unpainted (also deciding which unit to make).
Wishlist:
x1 Monolith
x1 Doomsday Ark
x10 Deathmarks
Feel free to provide feedback and tips on how to make them look any better and apologies for the poor photography. All pics are taken with my old phone.
P.s. Just noticed this is in the wrong forum and I apologise for this. Please could someone move this to the Painting Showcase

Good Job. Pretty standard stuff here. I would consider adding a desert type of tuft or grass to the bases to make them more interesting. The models are good table top otherwise. Keep it up!

Just a tip, when you're assembling Necron warriors, they look best if you glue the torso hunched forward as much as possible. Not doing so is the cause of your warriors ending up looking upwards.

Thanks for the comments and feedback. And yes, I agree the bases could also use some more work and it would be a nice touch to add some flock or something additional. Thing is German GW doesn't stock this for some reason so will check the UK again when I go home next.
Here are a few others I painted up over the weekend:
Progress update:
x1 Overlord - Basecoated and unpainted
x20 Warriors - 20 are painted and based - Completed
x6 Scarabs - Painted and based - Completed
x1 Stalker - Half painted, mainly legs, needs a lot more attention - Next weekend will be finished. Images to come next week
x5 Lychguard - Decided to go with Lychguard due to RP roles in my small list. Painted - Completed
x5 Deathguard - Decided to add these as a friend and I are due a 50 power point game in the near future. Painted - Completed.
x1 Cryptek - Awaiting delivery from GW!

Bought myself wraiths and started painting these on the sprue.
Long story short, I have to travel in a few weeks and to make sure they aren't destroyed, painting them in this format.
Let me know if there is any feedback on the matter.

Looks good so far. Looking forward to seeing when it's complete.

So I have painted my wraiths on the sprue so that I can transport them to Dublin and part constructed most of them ahead of my last game yesterday.
As you can see, some are missing the claws but half the force is fully done, (sadly I had a very unsharp craft knife to remove them from the sprue so took a long time to just do three). I will buy a clipper and finish the rest in the coming week.
