I love the fluff and look of Deathwatch. But, with the roll out of the new Primaris marine line, is it worth putting an effort into building up a Deathwatch army at this point? I don't want to put in the time an effort if they arent going to support it going forward.

Deathwatch is probably going the same way as the Grey Knights; i.e: what they have now is basically all they're gonna get for the foreseeable future. This is basically what happened to the GKs after 5th edition; they got jack diddly squat other than a special character after release.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Not a GK player, but I'm hoping that they get some new models with the impending codex release.

The Deathwatch get access to the newer Primaris.... specifically the Librarian, Captain, Reivers, and Aggressors. You can't fit them into the Corvus, which is too bad, but that's OK. The Corvus is awesome as it is. I hope they don't raise the points on it. It's a more mobile Land Raider. Not quite as resilient, but doubles as a sort of Alpha Strike potential if it doesn't get blasted out of the sky by a billion lasguns.

I'm specifically going to try some Reivers and Aggressors eventually... or at least see how to squeeze them in. As it is, it's close to pointless to take a 5-man squad of Terminators, but rather splash them within the Kill Teams.... But doing so, removes Alpha Strike potential... other than Vanguards. Reivers might help shore that up.

Oh. Looks like we get Redemptor Dreadnought now too
