I recently purchased the gamesworkshop warhammer 40k killteam boxed set, i have successfully finished gluing and painting 6 of the 10 space marines all of which are armed with a boltgun (1 of them has a radar). My leader is assembled primed and armed with a bolt pistol and chainsword.
I have one of my specialists with the heavy weapon rocket launcher. Now my concern is between the last 2 specialists, i want to arm one with a melta gun and the other with a flamer gun , however im not sure if that is appropriate. Am i allowed to do this for the 10 man squad or do i have to arm one of them with a boltgun as the 2 big guns are too much? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

p.s im new to warhammer 40k!

Well the good news you don't have to worry about the guns, the bad news is - that's because Kill Team is no longer a valid version of the game.

You could buy the 8th edition rulebook and Imperial Index 1, then make a "patrol detachment" to play small games however.
