On 31st July 2012, my Father passed away from cancer. He'd been fighting it for a long time and was an utter hero. At the end, he was being cared for by Myton Hospice. We have a Butterfly fund set up in his memory.

Recently, our local Games Workshop held a competition to convert and paint one of the Primaris marines. This is the entry I submitted. It didn't win anything, but did get an honorable mention. Although I do collect Salamanders, I feel that this model would be much better served if I sold him for charity, Myton Hospice. As such, all of the funds received from this auction will go to my Dad's butterfly fund.

Basically, the Butterfly funds with Myton is funds donated to them in someone's name. The funds are used by Myton Hospice to care for those patients in their care. This auction will help someone else get the care that my Dad received.

For those Salamanders players wondering what this guy is carrying, he's got a very nice power sword, a shield, he does have a holster so if you're playing WYSIWYG, he could have a pistol. He's got a very fetching dragon skull decoration on his head and a scaly shield. He's also packing a green stuff cloak with scales on the back and is standing on a lava base. Please be aware, this auction is only for the model shown and does not include any of the background terrain.

I am hoping that the auction makes plenty of money for Myton and, as such, I'm offering Free Postage.
