Not actually sure if General is the right forum to post this, but hopefully some kind person will inform me or move this to the right place if not!

So I have been wanting to organise a narrative campaign for a long time now, with some fun game setups and background stories written for battles and cumulative rewards for units and the like... but unfortunately since I am currently in the middle of nowhere it's very hard to actually get a regular game group together.

So then I realised there are a lot of players on Dakka who might be up for an organised campaign, nothing too extravagant but an ongoing narrative and a few bits of unique wargear rewarded to units who pull off some special heroics on the battlefield. I also have some ideas for game scenarios which might be fun, and a bit different than your usual exterminatus.

I'd be keeping track of the story and the units and the upgrades and so on, so all you'd need to do is play the games and furnish me with the battle reports!

The one issue I can see is that single people can't really join in on this, as they would need to play opponents who are happy to either join in, or at least allow the upgrades and scenarios.

So if anyone out there is up for joining in some friendly fun, let me know! Curious to see if I actually get any interest haha.

I might be interested if I wasn't one of those solo people you talked about. Scheduling is killing my time for actually playing... Or painting....

Yeh it's tricky these days! If you do find an opponent let me know though.
