Does deathguard get covered in the new chaos book or will
They have their own book out in the future?

They will get their own codex with unique units sometime within the next 1-3 months.

Probably next month the way the schedule is supposedly stacked. Of the 10 'this year,' it's the fourth (and last) to be explicitly mentioned by name, though one of the articles hinted at ad mech and guard as possibly part of the chosen.

As mentioned at the beginning of every "Legion preview" article on the Warhammer Community site this week, both Death Guard and Thousand Sons will get a codex of their own.

Death Guard is due late August or early September, Thousand Sons have no ETA yet. Since they just received a "complete" model line less than a year ago, I assume they will be among the "ten codexes before this Christmas", as one of the releases without models alongside it (like CSM).

Plague Marines however did gain a TON of options that aren't in the index. Two new ranged plague weapons and about three to four new plague melee weapons. With the Plague Spewer, Plague Belcher, Blight Launcher, Melta gun, and Plasma guns for ranged with Mace of Contagion, Flail of Corruption, Bubotic Axe, and the ability to take a second plague knife instead of the boltgun while they also are cheaper by two points.
