Subject: Models for jump pack Sorceror conversions?

I'm wanting to make some more Sorcerors for my Night Lords airborn detachment but I think the CSM sorceror looks pretty crap.
Here's my current sorceror made from the DV DA Librarian: http://i.imgur.com/Ri1BjpN.jpg (Made him in a rush, took a couple of hours, but I quite like how he turned out)
What I'm wondering is what other models I could use to make a good looking jump pack sorceror, so far I've eyed up the space marine Librarian:
Replace the head, make the staff a bit more chaos and he should look nice.
But I'm stuck on a third sorceror: Ezekial is metal so will be a pain to convert, Tigi is (in my opinion) a pretty rubbish looking model, as I said the CSM Sorceror isn't a great model and I can't think of what other models to use. Any suggestions?

Do you want it really gussied up? Nothing says a sorcerer needs to look particularly busy.
I just kitbashed one up for my Nurgle suppoted CSM.

I'd prefer for it to be immediately recognisable as a sorceror, also I really love the cloak and hood of the DA librarian (going to try to get more hooded heads for my sorcerers).

Take the Dark Angels Veteran sprue for the cloaked bodies and head. CSM arm bits of your choosing, but preferably something from the Raptor's set with it's gnarled power sword and funky spikes (or alternatively give him claws to make him feel like the night haunter). Then add either the Raptor's backpack or (my preference) get the winged backpack from the possessed box.
That should give you a funkalicious Night Lord Sorceror. However might not be cheap considering three kits are needed to make him so some bitz sourcing might be needed.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do. |

I might do that for my next sorcerer but for now...
I was looking through my bitz to see if I could find some spare cloaks, hooded heads, Raptor bitz, etc. when I found: an unused Exalted Sorcerer sprue (I got it for the disk but never built any of the sorcerers), an old Chaos Lord with Night Lord's metal upgrade head and Shoulder pad (I've taken him apart for the NL stuff, he was horribly painted anyway) and an old broken Raptor (poorly painted and missing an arm).
There are so many things in this bitz 'pile'.

I'm building a sorcerer out of the new Primaris Chaplain. Maybe you could look at chaplain models and convert them to sorcerers. They come with skulls as standard!

cloak is easily given with stuff like this: http://anvilindustry.co.uk/Exo-Lords/Cloaks-and-Loincloths
If you kitbash a posessed with a raptor, give it a chaos staff (some leftover bitz + tooth pick should make easy work of that)
Put him on a floating rock (some cork can easily be supported by a thumbtack)
That should put no doubt that he is a sorcerer...

Chaos?
Why not start off with a warp talon jump pack and torso, trim the toe nails on the legs,
arm swap with some generic power weapon
then add some sorcery bits like books skulls and scrolls all over.
