Rokkits seem good. Kustom Mega Blastas also seem like a good option.
I would try to magnetize or blue-tack or something until the codex comes out.

depends on the rest of your list, probably rokkits though. I'm still rarely impressed with their output, but it gives them a bit of range, and gives them high damage output.

I find it odd that KMBs are cheaper than rokkits now. Has better AP, but variable damage instead of just straight 3.
I have always been a fan of grotzookas, though kans no longer ignore heavy weapon penalties now, and I find them kind of 'eh'.
Honestly, I find kans kind of 'eh' in general now. grotzookas hit on 5s, melee hits on 5s. They have a fair amount of wounds, and I'm frankly amazed they have a 3+ save (when a battlewagon has a 4+).
So, for durability, they're actually not bad.
For melee? Bad, even with 4 attacks each in a group of 3+.
Shooting has been pretty lackluster for me. If I want rokkits, I'd rather take tankbustas.

Rokkitz are good but they kind of suck with how expensive they are. Basically every walker in our army is trash, I know, I have 12 kanz, 2 dreadz, 1 Naut and I am really thinking about getting a mekadread, but the walker list is still not competitive.
If you are hell bent on bringing them I suggest Rokkitz, KFF Big Mek, and a Waaagh Banner nob to be nearby. This way they do decent ranged damage, have better protection against shooting and a repair roll, and finally, if they get into charge range they have 4 attacks hitting on 4s instead of 5s.
The problem is that is a huge points sink for not a whole lot of dakka/durability or choppiness.

Magnetize the loadout and then go for rokkits. If you find that you lack anti-infantry then take the big shoota, but most often rokkits are better.
Kans are pretty mediocre. With a banner nob and KFF they can become ... slightly better than mediocre. But they look cool, and if you are lucky your opponent will waste more fire on them than they deserve.

Magnetize if possible, they'll make transporting them easier.
I have only used Grotzookas - and they are barely worth it in this edition. I am looking to try Big Shootas or Rokkits.
I have also always gone for minimum unit size of three. Sure when one dies another will run away on a six but I find it very rarely happens and the extra attack each one gets helps to ensure crippling a vehicle.

Rokkits all the way.
You get one hardpoint with BS4+, so give it a gun worth having. KMB is too risky and the other guns dont do anything you wont get elsewhere. Boys have enough shoota/slugga shots you dont need the lower power guns.
