Yeah, today I finally got the Corax White spray I needed to finally spray paint my Pox Walkers and Death Guard.
But I have a question?
How do I paint the large maggot-y tendrils that come out of the pox walkers? They seem like a deep purple colour? I'm thinking something like multiple layers of Druchii violet but each layer further from the base to have a bit of a gradient, but if that isn't a good idea please say!

I actually go with a white base and purple ink wash. The ink ends up residing in the recesses and gives near perfect highlighting of the entire tentacle without much effort.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

your idea for the layering druchii violet is generally how Ive started going about my Poxwalkers.
If you highlight the tentacle coils with a pale white or whatever your chosen highlight colour is and it looks far too bright, going back over with the druchii wash can help blend it all back together.

Alternatively, do a layer of screamer pink on part of the tentacle (over the white base) and then use multiple druchii wash layers (as you've described) to blend the pink/purpley tentacle in with the skin where it transitions back in to rotting flesh.
This gives the tentacles a dark pinky purple colour though so your mileage may vary and change the colours out as you desire for your preferred coloured tentacles.
