Hello I am looking for some information of how TOs or people consider playing the Defenders of Humanity or changing it.
If you didn't know Defenders of Humanity effectively give SM troops objective secured.

At the moment 90% of armies don't have a codex (assuming GK and CSM are close enough to have a new codex). So they therefore cant possibly stop the ability from taking effect through there own units having a mutual ability.

So for tournaments and regular games, are TOs/players planning to use this rule as is at the moment. Since most armies can't stop it, I would hope a consensus can be had to change or eliminate the ability for a bit.

Are people giving all troops objective secured, no units have it at the moment, or allowing it to play as codex are released and people gain units that have the ability.

There is no need to house rule everyone to have obsec. Even in 7ed when everyone had it plenty armies choose not to take obsec units and did completely fine
