Interesting. A friend in my hobby group is the dedicated cleaner. He uses a 3 litre Ultrasonic Cleaner loaded with rubbing alcohol AND a heating element. It isn't so easy to pick if it is the agitation, heat or chemicals that do the job, but 99% of things do get indeed done.

I wouldn't have guessed that the heat plays such a major role, but it's always great to learn more =]
