Have you accidentally typed te wrong closing date, or are you really only giving people two days to enter this?

I don't expect anyone to paint a mini or make something for it, just take a picture using what they already have. I guess I didn't think it would take that long. I can happily extend it if need be. I just want to give away some steam keys that are gathering dust and thought it would be fun.

Tom - the extended deadline suggestion was so people got a chance to pay attention to the thread and notice it - sometimes it takes a week or more for things to gain traction and attention. Be neat if you decide to run another and set a longer date for things if possible. Be great to see some creative miniature photography!

Hmm, I hadn't considered that. It seemed to me that a post usually gets noticed or it doesn't, but only gets buried with time. Unless it's a thread people already follow obviously.

I have quite a few more steam keys to give away, all pretty decent games, so it wouldn't be a problem to try again.

Aye a thread does tend to live or die but a lot of that can be when you post it; but also sometimes a longer time limit gives you more chance for those who take part to chat and keep the thread bumped upand thus have more people catch it. Plus you want at least one or two weekends for people to get time to stup and take photos and such

Might be a dumb q , but what's a steam key?

It is a code that lets you download a game on the PC online distributing platform called STEAM. Basically it is a virtual copy of a game.
