Hello,

I don't know if this is the right place for my question.
I recently started painting on commission. If this is the place to place I will explain better, otherwise I would like to know which subject I should use.

Thnx!

Depends on the question that you have not given us.
Anything releated to creation of miniature tabletop models from starting from the sprue to finished model belongs here.

plus if it is in the wrong subsection a mod will prolly move the thread for you.

This is the right place for questions; the showcase is the right place to show finished work.

Generally it's good form to put [Commission] or something similar in the thread title of stuff you've done as work.

Note that commission painters are open to much, much harsher criticism than general folks. We're paid to do a job (and we show jobs we've been paid for) and we're expected to have done those jobs properly - from assembly right through to photography of the finished pieces.

Dakka is about the most forgiving forum I know of for posting of commissioned work. Many places don't allow 'advertising'. Here, if you're open about what you've done, answer questions and generally aren't a douche, things go well. :-)

This doesn't mean you need to be turning out Golden Demon or studio level work, just that you need to be up front about what you're producing.

If you're turning out a tabletop army in less than a month for a few hundred bucks (or equivalent) you're not going to be doing stunning work on individual models. If you're painting a few single models and charging high end rates, then the standard you do them to should be higher.

Good luck, and I look forward to seeing your work!
