Not a bad looking list. Personally I would use guardians instead of DAs though. Guardians get twice the shots for half the price. Avengers may be slightly tougher per model and have slightly more range, but I do not feel that it is enough to justify them costing over twice as much. Maybe if you were running them on foot, but you aren't

For the current price of your DAs you can get 10 guardians and a shuriken cannon platform

It's a straight forward no frills list and looks good.

I agree with DSToast's suggestion about the Guardians of the DA. It's just the way things are for now.

My only other real suggestions would be to go with one unit of 5x Skyweavers and using the saved points to add a Warlock w/ Conceal to put between the two Reaper units, this will help to keep them around a little longer. This will also take your number of drops to six which will just about guarantee you the first turn a 2k.

All of the Farseer's Powers have got a 24" range so he can ride with the DA/Guardians get out and still guide the Reapers if that was your plan. However I would probably take Fortune instead and cast it on the bikes and watch just how survivable they can be.

Anyway it's a solid list.

This is 1995. Wish I could find 2 points to give the farseer a singing spear but not really much to cut.

I did consider the 5 man unit of bikes but it limits me a bit with taking objectives since I have so few units.

I also tried to cut the bikes and get some wraithguard in the list but I ended up with like 100 or so points and nothing better to add back in.

Are you absolutely sure you need the 3rd Serpent. They are good, but now that you can put multiple units in them, you only really need 2.
If you drop 1 you can add either a Lance Ravager, or a Razorwing jetfighter. Either option would give you much needed first turn anti-tank.

Since this is a tourney list, you should expect to face a list with Guiliman + a parking lot full of Razorbacks/Predators/Dreads/etc.
Speaking from experience, you absolutely do not have enough fire power to drop enough of those tanks, which will be rerolling hits AND wounds.
Granted, your Skyweavers should do a good job at engaging some of those to stop them from shooting, but if the Marine player deploys tactically, you may not get to the right targets.

I have considered dropping 1 sky weaver unit actually in order to get a 3 lance ravager but when you math it it still doesn't really kill a whole razorback a turn.

3 shots is 2 hits. wounding on 3s and even if both wound then you only average 7 wounds.

The ravager is also super weak. t6 and 10 wounds.

I do agree I feel a lack of anti tank but was hoping all the reapers would do the trick. Should be able to kill 2-3 razorbacks with WotF as well.

Also the fusion harles are pretty good verse them

They get in flamer range + Celestine in turn 1, then unleash something like 25d6 flamer / heavy flamer shots. Turn 2 Celestina charges and is GG.

How is this list really that much better verse conscript hoards?

You actually have less shooting and worse range.

I of course like the hemlocks but feel like they get gunned down from bobby g/storm ravens.

Ycarne eh? I haven't run him in 7th. Whats the plan? Just jump and hope to get in? I hate he cant charge the turn he arrives.

You wont beat hordes with shooting, not conscripts for sure. Have you ever played against then? Better to avoid them and you Need something that can resist alpha strikes. You must summon the Yncarne in your opponents turn, last unit he destroys

By the way: the list i posted got 5th Place in the BAO tournament (Adam Gati)

No I only have about 8 games of this edition.

I have read plenty about them etc but no real experience.

Makes sense about the ycarne. its not mandatory to bring him in when something is killed?

You list is also over by 1 point.

The 1 point is a battlescribe error. Hemlock costs 211 not 221... With the remaining points you can add spirit stones or singing spear for the farseer

Re: the original list -- you might also consider lumping the dark reapers into a single squad so they can get maximum benefit from psychic buffs. I've been doing that in all of my games and so far it's been working like a charm

I have considered this but was fearful for the fact that if you get charged the whole unit cant fire basically. As well as moral could actually matter which at 30 points a guy is rough.

I thought about 10 in a bastion with 4 h bolters and a quad. They could sit and fire anywhere on the field and then get out when needed and I can cast WotP on them to shoot again.

Don't think so... double hemlock is a pricey combo but is good vs everything: flyers, multi-wound units, tanks, and can snipe characters as wellif moved properly. Aaaand the 2x smite? Devastating

Last night my opponent fielded a Vindicare assassin to snipe Yvraine and other models. Turn 1 double hemock smite= Vindicare gone.

Hemlock is just too good for what it does compared to other vehicles / flyers. -1 to leadership in 12'' radius? check . -2 to being hit thanks to conceal+hard to hit ? check. Autohit weapon that negates any possibile armor save / cover ? check. 80'' movement with no malus? check. Deny the witch + smite? Check. It's all cheese guys.

Find me another flyer that can to that much in Aeldari index.

I have seen the hemlock shine just you are all in with them. I feel like its either hemlocks or reapers in a lot of lists.

The reapers have been mental for me. Cast guide/doom and they will remove land raiders etc fast.

I killed a gorkanaught and a mork the other day by turn 2. 3 static damage and no negatives is nothing to scoof at!

Word of the phoenix actually is less useful on 10 reapers than it is on 5 harlequins with fusion pistols.

At half range 5 harles do more damage to multi-wound targets than 10 reapers, and are less of an investment if those 5 get targeted. In addition, WotP can be used for assault purposes with the harles.

I think using Yvraine on the reapers is amazing, but only if you are sure you can keep the enemy at arms-length.
