I made a similar list to this not long ago but then realised I cheated with the command points so I've had a shift around of the units and here's the new version with more baseline troops than the orignial list. First detachment is an all cc army with the Zerkers, Lord and champion all hopping in the Rhinos and the Termies + Lord dropping from the sky. The second detachment is a support and buff detachment where the unmarked sorcerer will drop down and cast warptime on the Terminators, the marked sorcerer will give the Raptor -1 to hit against it and prescience whilst the cultists grab objectives and the Havocs provide a bit of support (though not much with only 2 lascannons). Competitively speaking, Alpha Legion would have probably been a better secondary legion but I've already painted up my sorcerers, Raptor and half my cultists so what are you going to do.

My struggle at the moment is what to do with the last 16pts and who to make my warlord. I'd also appreciate any other pieces of advice you have for this list.

We can still take Berzerkers as troop choice ? I thought I saw somewhere that even Legions couldn't take cult units as troops...

According to FLG, we can. Which is nice.

I would maybe put the marked sorcerer on a bike instead of the jump pack to better keep in range of the flyer it's buffing and give it a tad more survivability. Make him your warlord and keep him out of danger as much as possible. Should just fit in with your points remaining,

Sounds like a good idea (I'll have to buy another sorceror though since I just converted two to Jump Pack sorcerers I'll use them in heavy deep striking armies anyway), thanks.

I thought the sorcerer on bike had been removed from the codex...

It isn't in the codex which means the most up to date rules of biker sorcerers are in the index. GW said we can use the index for units that haven't got a codex entry yet.

Right, I've got my plan to get a new psyker and a spare bike now.

I've still got a niggling feeling about the havocs, are they worth it for 2 Lascannons? Though I suppose without them I don't have a terribly large amount of ranged fire power...

Sadly it looks like that may have been a mistake.. the mind boggles.

If it is I'm definitely gonna go complain to GW, give me my WE Zerkers back!

You can still take the battalion if you take 3 squads of cultists tax or run vanguard. Not ideal, of course.

I hate cultists so much. The ones in the above list are actually converted Guardsmen, though I'm not a fan of taken large numbers of any models: 30 cultists already makes me unhappy.

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

So, as of the Twitch WarhammerTV stream this afternoon, Zerkers are confirmed elites only. Won't start my rant about that again...

Change round the detachment and now I have 7CP rather than 9CP, will that be enough if I'm throwing out a VotLW per shoot/fight phase and I'm using re-rolls every now and then? With what I have, is there any way of switching up the detachments for more CP?
