Hey everyone.

Anyone have an idea when biovores will ether return to back in stock or when a new kit will be out?

I'm still hoping/expecting GW to release a combined bio/pyro vore kit in the future and also a combined deathleaper/lictor kit. They are the only models left with resin components in our line-up and both are ripe for a single kit. I'd expect it a three model kit just like they've done with the other elite choices in our line up.

However that might well not come until we get the new codex which is estimated to be around early next year last I read.


And yes at present things are kind of in and out of stock at random. It's just production shortages as a result of a new edition. I have heard that the "waiting email" button on their website does feedback to their production and if lots of people are waiting for a certain model it can bump it up the production list.

I don't think we'll get that. Raveners are already in plastic and the fact that GW didn't take that moment to add the Red Terror to the kit suggests that either they sort of want to get rid of it or make it its own character model. Interestingly for Tyranids he's the last character model that isn't part of another kit (or sold by Forgeworld). Old One Eye vanished a long while ago and the Parasite and Doom both vanished to be replaced by the in-kit Neurothrope; whilst the Swarm Lord is part of the Hive Tyrant kit.

I'd actually welcome a few more stand-alone kits for Tyranids. Give the designers a chance to go a little wild and more detailed with some characters/special evolutions.

Their restock is random as hell. I was planning on Penitent Engines last week and they went out of stock on the Saturday and were back in on Monday.

There's no way to tell.
