Hi all. I wanted to share my GT list and see what you think. I would love feedback. It's dispersed over a battalion detachment and a vanguard detachment. The strategy is:
- Autarch deep strikes next to the warp spiders or guardians to utilize the reroll 1 to hit bubble. I like him being the warlord for two reasons. 1. he's slippery and can fly away from threats with skyleap. 2. The leadership aura warlord trait is excellent with his ability to deep strike (multiple times). Warp spiders will likely be a priority target so his leadership along with their iron will will be tough to break.
- Farseer and Warlock join the Guardian block. Warlock keeps conceal up and Farseer casts fortune on Guardians until the Spiders are in a threatening position, in which case they will get the buff. Doom is PIVOTAL in this list.
- The Solitaire is meant to assassinate characters. Harlequin's kiss on a doomed character is fun.
- The Ravager and Raiders fly around stealing objectives and aiming for vehicles and monsters along the way. I know 5 dark lances and 4 blasters is minimal for Drukhari, however, there is another unit to take care of big things...
- Mandrakes. Mandrakes are amazing in every way (sorry Ynnari players). They are defensive(ish), fast, excellent at melee, excellent at shooting, can (and should) deepstrike, and benefit from every stage of Power from Pain. Target a doomed unit in shooting or melee and they thrive. I personally find them more reliable at taking down vehicles with their shooting than many other dedicated anti tank squads. Though, that relies heavily on the vehicle being doomed and you should never depend on the psychic phase to be successful, just wishful thinking.

More than any other unit. Their shots are only strength 4 so it's often that they'll re-roll at least half of the to wound rolls. They inflict mortal wounds on 6s (in addition to normal damage) so the more chances of that the better. Also makes for decent vehicle hunters. If they make it to melee, they equally benefit from doom with their turn three +1 to hit buff from feel no pain and three str4 attacks each.

Regards your Warp Spiders, being in such large units they will attract a lot of attention. Do you see that as a potential issue?
I really like Mandrakes too. However I really want to be able to take units from all 3 factions of Aeldari effectively and for me Ynarri does that too well otherwise I would also be bringing them. Nice models too!

Like other people before me said, mandarkes cannot be taken as part of an ynnari force, so this list is illegal.
You ally harlies, drukhari and craftworlds but some changings must be made, you'll need drukhari HQs for example.

Thanks for the input everyone!
To clarify, this is Aeldari, not Ynnari.
As far as the large Warp Spiders squad sizes, I feel they work better in big units for several reasons: They benefit more from their rerolling leadership ability. Their ability to fly in the move phase allows them to ditch combat and still shoot, and with more models, it is likely that they will actually have Spiders to ditch with. Larger units more efficiently utilize Farseer's fortune, and their short ranged weapons mean they need to make sure their target dies so the more dakka the better.
