The Hammers Of Sigmar are the poster boy chamber for the stormcast. They're the ones in gold armour with blue detailing. Think it's possible to paint their scheme onto the Primarus Marines? Think this could work out? Has it already been done?

Check out the Minotaurs. Just change out "Gold and Blue" for "Brass and Red" respectively.

No they're not Khornate. Loyalist to a fault actually.

Oh nice, thank you! Perhaps they would look better with a dirty bronze effect rather than bright shining gold.

I've got a chapter symbol in mind too. The winged lighting bolt used by the death mark and rainbow warrior chapters. That, in white, on blue pads with bronze gold amour. And the best part is, I can paint the libarians in blue, the apothecaries in white, the techmarines in red and the chaplains in black and they'll all really stand out when compared to the rank and file.

My Primaris Chapter is something similar, with Brass armor and Black Accents. Currently I'm still trying out combinations, not sure if I want just black Greaves or if I want to make other portions black or some other color as well.

Experimentation is half the fun.

I'm being inspired by the weapons and armour of Destiny (a heavily flawed gem of a game). Lots of high tier weaponrs in that game are blue. And I think that blue boltguns would look good against gold armour. I just wish there was a painter app that let you use the gun so I could see how it looks.

I actually like blue with a bit of a gold accent. For some reason that combo always has the elemental feel of primordial lightning to me.

Unfortunately, as you probably would have guessed, that's also the colorscheme of the Ultramarines SOOOOOO....Bleh.

I think that looks quite nice if I do say so myself. You're right about the blue being boring though. That's why I couldn't bring myself to do either the death strike or Rainbow Warriors. Too blue.
