Sword-Wielding Bloodletter of Khorne

Hi All,

So with Possessed now getting 2W I'm interested in adding some to my army. The issue is that I've been kit bashing Possessed models to represent my command squad (Lords, Sorcerers, Aspiring Champions, etc.), so using Possessed as Possessed is no longer an option. One thought to represent these guys is to attach some lesser daemon arms of various kinds to CSM. If I were to do this, I'd preferably like to use the arms from a variety of lesser daemons, so from each Bloodletters, Daemonettes, Plaguebearers, and Pink Horrors.

The issue is that my only experience of these models is from 3rd Edition, so I don't have a good sense of how well they will fit. From looking at images of the models and conversions on the net, I have seen that I can attach daemonette claws to the end of wrists. But I was wondering about the feasibility of putting Bloodletter, Plague Bearer, and Pink Horror arms on the models, either again attaching lower down the arm, or putting it straight on the torso. I will hopefully be putting shoulder pads over, if they can fit (and I'd be interested to hear if the arms are too thick to put the shoulder pads straight on), so the torso connection doesn't need to be perfect. And I'm happy to do some hacking.

But all of this is contingent on scale, and I'd be really interested to hear whether this would be feasible. Would the arms look ok? Would they be too big? Too small?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

If you want some variety, try kitbashing Ork arms, Daemon arms, and Gaunt arms. Don't worry about scale issues; the more disproportionate they look the better (daemons are notoriously fickled and flesh is a finicky medium). If you want some inspiration, look at Resident Evil series for how to make them look truly monstrous.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.
