So this isn't going to be a super competitive list I know, because I hate buying/fielding lots of spam units, I like to have some variety in my modelling. So this list is me making the best list I can manage, out of what I have (plus one or two things I'm in the process of making/converting )

Don't think there's a lot to explain here. Tankbustas in the Big Trakk, walkers walking up under cover of the Meka-Dread's KFF. Stormboyz, Gretchen and Boyz are used as screens and to rush into some battles to tarpit units that need distracting. Weirdboy can throw the boyz forward first turn (or when needed).

Do have the option of swapping out the BigTrakk + Tankbustas combo for a Kill Tank with Giga Shoota... Would probably be about as killy, but decently more survivable. 10 points cheaper overall too. I do already have a fair few rokkits on the board, so the Gigashoota might be more useful, but then I'd lose the Supa-Skorcha.

Thoughts?

Edit: Oh, and the killa kanz are running solo. I didn't have the points for a squad of 3 (though if I can find the points I wouldn't mind adding my third one in). As they don't have a minimum squad size, and I had the free heavy slots, I figured it would be good to run them as units of 1. Means no losses to morale, and also means more chance of the enemy wasting shots/ mortal wounds on them when one dies.


Edit 2: Someone has suggested to me that Deff Dreads are probably the weakest part of the list at the moment due to how expensive they are. I could drop them, and have *both* the bigtrakk+tankbustas and a killtank. Or I could add a dakkajet in, which I would also love to have haha.

Only Issue I see is Battalion requires 3 troops choices and I only see two...Btw kill tank Bursta is the way I would roll (ranged str 10 is nice for ork) Dakka jet is a solid choice as well and gives you the equivelent of a gigashoota

Morfydd is Correct. Battalion requires 3 troops choices and you only have 2. StormBoyz are Fast Attack, I think you may have mistaken them as troops.

Just split the gretchin, you'll have the 3 troops you need.

Ahhh yes, I think this was because I originally had two gretchen squads and one Boyz squad, which I then changed to two 30-boy boyz squads and one gretchen squad... and then I deleted a boyz squad and totally forgot I needed 3 for a battallion. I'm still used to the old days of 1HQ and 2Troops.

I could easily split the gretchen and leave it as that, or add in a small boyz squad to put in the kill-tank as a little interference unit.

Question:
Which option do you think is the most useful for the list - a Big Trakk + SupaSkorcha + 5 Tankbustas, or a Kill Tank with Bursta kannon (or gigashoota) with maybe 10 boyz in it.
