sort of an odd question under the circumstances but i really want to add a flyer to my guard army.
i just like the idea of air support.
i don't care a whole lot for the Valkyrie and i really really like the stormtalon and corvus, they just scream fighter at me and dont have some of the cartoony aspects of some of the other imperium flyers.

i know its my army etc but is it crazy to add one of these to a guard force?

which one would you choose for aesthetics and then which would you choose for game play?
the corvus is a bit of a miss game play wise since its a transport that i would never be able to use to move anything but damn it looks cool.

i suppose a different option would be to wait for the guard dex but i really dont see them adding another flyer.
i'd also like to stay away from forgeworld.

See this is a hard question for me because I really like the Valkyrie.

But if it's between those two, I would go with the Corvus. The Stormhawk interceptor looks like a beefer Land Speeder Tempest, which isn't an all that awesome looking thing to begin with. However the Corvus looks more like a dropship (which it is) than an interceptor.

Is FW a choice? because they make some of the better aircrafts, especially for guard.

i dont know, maybe the valk isnt that bad.
theres just something clunky about the big square underbelly that throws it off for me.

i wonder how flyers like the valkyrie would work as replacements for tanks?

Personally I'd just convert up the Corvus and use it as a Valkyrie.

Just make sure it has all the weapons that the Valkyrie normally has.
