I have realised that I'm going to struggle to get all the painting I need to do for Armies on Parade finished in time, unless I start to utilise my lunch hours at work. So I kind of need something like the Citadel Project Box (https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Citadel-Project-Box) to carry a few paints, brushes, miniatures, and a pallate to work and back. However, the Citadel one (true to form) is ridiculously expensive. It does seem really good, with space for loads of paints and tools, a cutting board etc built-in. There must be a cheaper alternative though. Do any of you guys paint on the go? Do you know of any good portable project boxes that combine room to carry all the stuff I need to carry safely with reasonable quality and a low price?

Head to any home improvement shop and browse the toolbox/organizers section for portable organizers.

There are also several companies that put out MDF painting tray kits, like Hobby Zone or Gamecraft Miniatures.
