I want to make it look like the horns are made up of various rocks and minerals, kinda like the rocks the stonehorn eats are being part of it's horns. I'm using the general color scheme from the warhammer tv beastclaw raiders guide with some modifications like the cloth for the pants are various shades of blue. I want the horns to be a mix of diamond-like color, ice, and metal of some sort but I have no idea how to do that and make it look good. Any suggestions would help, pictures would be nice and I'm using GW paints.

I really don't know how that would work, exactly - how you'd integrate it so it's clear for instance. But I would definitely start with some pictures of the kinds of minerals you want to use, and try to mimic that. Having reference shots will really help! And there are sooo many beautiful forms of minerals out there

Good luck!

You could paint them bone then wash them in various earthish tones like reds oranges and browns

though a miniralized horn would probably fracture instantly if any force is applied to them

Painting crystals is actually fairly simple, though it does require smooth transitions between colour. Make the portruding parts of the crystal brighter than the rest of the crystal. This is for a very simple reason. The thicker the crystal, the more distance the light has to travel through it, thus making it darker. The oposite is true for thinner parts of the crystal. Light has to travel less distance through the crystal, so there is less shadow and the part is therefore brighter.

Another way to suggest the consumption transition from rock to horns would be to tie it in with some rocks on the base painted similar to the horns, so people can draw the conclusion.
