Hey, i'm thinking of buying some used Warhammer, and both the seller and I are having issues figuring out what unit this is. I'm tempted to call it a Dark Apostle mod, but I could be wrong. It's the one with the big sword in the centre left of the frame.

Yeah, with the typical EC noise-marine type weaponry (Doom siren?) backpack.

It's just a themed chaos lord that had different rules for equipment back in the day.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Am I only one who keeps seeing it as an old Oriental dude in the OPs pic because of the way the face is painted?

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Most of the mouths on the old Noise Marines were weird. The jaws were extended so speakers and metallic tendrils could extend. This guy is par for the course.
