So we had this situation come up yesterday & we were unable to find an answer in the rulebook. If an unit wants to shoot an enemy character but there is an assault taking place closer than the enemy character is, can you fire at them since the enemy models are unable to be targeted? What if you have clear line of sight on said character? We assumed no because character is not closest enemy model. Is this correct?
