Subject: New Player/ need help with an Imperial Knight Army

Hey guys,
I'm new to 40K and recently bought a set of Imperial Knights from a friend without knowing too much about the Gameplay. I mainly picked them because they looked awesome. But I think it would be rather unwise to run a Knight only army, especially since i'm new to this Game. So I would like to mix them up with an Army that complements them in Terms of Lore and Gameplay.
The Knights: Knight Crusader with Battle Cannon and Gattling/ Icarus Autocannons
Knight Warden with Battle Cannon and Gauntlet/ Stormspear Rocket Pod
Knight Paladin with Battle Cannon and Chainsword
Cerastus Knight Archeron with Chainfist and Flamecannon
Maybe you have some cool Ideas for some decent Army Lists. Thanks!

Well, I'd add a small AM bataillon detachment such as
2 Company Commanders,
3 Infantry squads with heavy weapon teams,
2 small Ratling units.
This is about 250 to 300 pts.

Thanks for the suggestion. I should have set a Point Limit to this Question.
So I was aiming for a 1850p List with 2 of the Knights and a 2000p list with 3 Knights so I could use them in the Super Heavy Detachment.

In both cases, I'd go for the super-heavy detachment which gives you 3 CP.
Then you've spend about 1400-1500 pts which leaves room for an AM bataillon detachment as above.

Tbh the most effective knight is the crusader.
With 3 of them and top mount weapons you can easily reach 1750 points.

I run an Imperial Guard Superheavy Tank Regiment, similar to Knights with some significant differences: The differences are that Knights don't really enjoy hordes (e.g. conscripts) at least as much as IG SHTs do, because of the way objective scoring works, but they are considerably better than IG SHTs in close combat with most things. Therefore, based on that metric, I think the largest issue the Knights will face is a gigantic horde of rather basic infantry, everything from mass Berzerkers all the way to Orks, IG, and horde Nids, the traditional masters of horde-ing. Therefore, I would bring something that helps thin the herd, perhaps assault cannons on Marine things, Sisters Immolators with twin Immolation Flamers, Imperial Guard heavy bolter or especially mortar teams, Imperial Guard wyverns, and then flavour to taste. Next trouble the Knights have is with objectives, and here again Imperial Guard shine, with the ability to take their own cheap hordes who are largely immune to morale. However, their blocky, unwieldy mass can get in the way of your knight's advance upfield, so it may be better to bring Marine units in transports, especially if the objective is in cover for a sweet sweet 2+ save.

Tempestus Scions and Tauroxes have the kinda-fleur- de-lyes symbol that features prominently on the IK armour all over them.
They're also great in this edition.

Nice picture Scott.
I forgot to say that there is no need for the gauntlet or the chainsword on a knight as you can get with your titanic feet 12 attacks instead of 4 with either the sword or the fist.
Dropping the carapace weapons i think you can field all 4. I just don´t know how expensive the Cerastus is, though can´t imagine that much.

Indeed, these days there is no need for a cc weapon.
The titantic feet provides a massive number of attacks for free. Same for the Wraithknight.

Indeed. The big CCW is the best anti-tank that non- FW Knights have access to, by some margin.
