Hey guys,

I just got done running a Blood Bowl League, which ended up being a ton of fun. We had a good matchup of teams and players, all of whom were new. These are all teams that I painted to get everything running. So, without further ado,

My personal Bretonnian team, the Montfort Martels. They went 6-1-1 W/L/D over the season and won the Championship. Miniatures by Greebo Games.

The Caledor Dragons, who came in 2nd with a record of 4-2-2. The Wardancers and Catchers in particular had fantastic seasons. Miniatures by Black Scorpion.

The Tainted Sea Titans, who came in 3rd with a record of 4-3-1. Easily won for most kills and casualties inflicted, as well as fewest casualties sustained.

The Altdorf Stallions, who came in 4th with a record of 2-6. They had a pretty rough season overall, but did manage two solid wins, including one against the Caledor Dragons.

And finally the Orcland Raiders, who came in last with a record of 1-5-2. However, despite their record, they were notoriously unlucky in both sustaining casualties and completing even the most basic plays. Truly a cursed team.

Ive always wanted to get into BloodBowl but I dont think I have many people near me that would want to also play it. So either I sit here and swoon over people that actually play the game, or I make an effort and try and cram a long drive into my busy schedule

Best way to do it I find is to get a good mix of teams yourself (they really don't cost all that much, only 11-16 minis) and showcase it that way. A League is the best way to build up loyalty and interest, but I was blessed with a pretty open-minded gaming group who were willing to try it out.
