I'm thinking about getting the new Bullgryn/Ogryn plastic kit, with the intention of building 3 Bullgryns with shields and mauls from it, and using leftover bits to build 3 Ogryns + Nork Deddog. I have enough Fantasy Ogres to use as bases for the 3 Ogryns and Nork.

Could someone advise if there are enough heads in the kit to pull this off?

It looks to me that there are 3 gas mask heads, 3 bare heads, 1 Nork head and maybe two Bone 'ead heads (if I'm correctly assuming that the moustaches heads are supposedly Bone 'ead ones).

I should be ok with the amount of arms as well, seeing as I can combine the supplied bits with the Ogre arms.

I can't justify €37 for three models, but if I could make 3+3+1 out of this and a few (cheap) second-hand Ogres, the value proposition is a whole lot more attractive!

The sprues are actually shown on the GW website:

I guess it's every sprue once.

Thanks, yeah I saw the sprues all right, just not that obvious how many heads there are and what types. I was hoping someone had bought this kit and could confirm. But it's probably not a particularly well-selling kit.

EDIT: I found a bitz site that listed all the separate components that come on the sprues, and I'm glad to say that there are 9 heads in total, which cover my conversion requirements. Also it was nice to see that there are 4 ripper guns and 4 torsos included, so I'll be able to handily make the 3 Bullgryns, 3 Ogryns and Nork from the kit, with some Ogre parts thrown in.

Just a little update on this, that Ogryn/Bullgryn kit is pretty fantastic with GW Fantasy Ogre bodies. I was able to make the following:

- 3 normal, unconverted Ogryns
- 3 Bullgryns with mauls, using Ogre legs & torsos.
- 3 Bullgryns with Grenadier Gauntlets, using Ogre legs & torsos, plus a couple of Ogre arms, and 1 Ogre head. Used a bit of spare IG track as groin armor.
- 1 Nork Deddog, again with Ogre legs & torsos.

I also magnetized the slab shields and brute shields, so that they can be used on any Bullgryn.

The total cost came to €37 for the Ogryn kit, plus about €10 for the Ogre parts from ebay.

Sure, I took some photos. First up the regular Ogres, without shoulder pads, because I used those on the second set of Bullgryns. The bases are still work in progress for all of these guys...
I'm not 100% happy with the magnetizing, because the magnets I had were 5x3mm which are a bit too thick. Also I didn't have a good drill bit to properly drill them in, so the connection points are way too thick now.
I probably shoud do a little bit more greenstuffing to finish these off before painting.

Bullgryns with Bullgryn Mauls and magnetized Slab Shields, which obviously can be posed in various positions.

Bullgryns with Grenadier Gauntlets and magnetized Brute Shields. (I haven't quite finished the third one of these yet)

Nork Deddog. He needs some greenstuff padding under his torso armor.
