Any good suggestions on doing some bases that will make the models look like they're on Prospero? Looking for something relatively inexpensive that will give that feel.

The AoS basing kit looks pretty sorcerous. Marble with runes and rivers of magic.

I've been eyeballing these on ebay for some time. Not sure how well they do, but they look interesting.

This is probably the easiest route.

and honestly GW plastic bases have been pretty stellar.

But baring that or the rolling pin,

Linolium flooring ties, broken up into a ruin base. paint it all white marble like i think would look pretty good for prosparo.

The way it's described, it had a lot of white marble and glass. A lot of what sounds like what we think of when we think of Classical Greek architecture (the columns etc).

You can get some broken columns from various places for some center pieces.

The other ideas presented above are great as well, tiles and marble look.

You could get inspired and greenstuff some urns and small bottle/decanter type things too. (I think Reaper and a couple other places make them if you wanted to buy them instead)

And books, it had books of every description, so maybe some scrolls, etc.
